Welcome to the first episode of a peaceful perspective with Shalom. In today's episode, we're diving deep into the topic of open, honest and very candid conversations. Join me as I explore the importance of addressing the difficult questions and having the tough talks that lead to true understanding and growth. Let's just get started. Imma start talking now. Oh no, bruh, I am bro. That's crazy. Our flexes are different. People will sit here and talk about me for it, but hold on. Wow, it didn't even work. Our flexes are different though, bro, I'm on my third passport, and I'm not even 30. No, honestly, I'm for real. I want to, like, if God let me have my way, if he give me the money that I really want. I'm telling y'all, it's about to be over with bruh, everybody I know about to have a passport, whether you got $1 to your name or a million. I love traveling and seeing the world, bro, I feel like I'm closest to Jesus when I'm like, outside, when I'm outside, just like, even like, learning to just dance in the rain. Y'all, I posted this video once, point of view, learning to dance in the rain. New Orleans has entered the presidential election. Check, sources say that Kamala Harris campaign is vetting former congressman Cedric Richard Richmond as a potential candidate for Vice President with so much sudden changes to this election, we're curious to see how this plays out. Whatever your politics views are, we encourage you to get informed. Stay informed. Vote your interest and show up where it matters most. What's your thoughts on this, bro? That's literally the same thing. Of what I'm saying is it's like, bruh, do your research. All y'all gotta do is just get out here and do y'all research instead. Y'all much rather sit here and just say, oh, like, Trump, go win. Trump, go win. Let me tell you something. There's power in the tongue. There's power in the tongue. If, who y'all voting for? If y'all just go sit here and say, Oh, Kamala. Go win. Kamala. Go win. Kamala. Go win, bro. There's power in the tongue. Let's just be honest with you. The Bible say it's somewhere in the Bible. That's your first piece of your homework. The first piece of your homework is, go look up where it says in the Bible that but go look up where it says in the Bible, that one, the last, shall be first. That's the first. I don't know why. I just looked at my phone. That's the first thing that popped in my head. But the second thing is, bruh, go look up where it says in the Bible, literally, that the power that one, there's power in the tongue. But then a subsection of that, there's another scripture that says that the Bible. I mean that your tongue is like a rooter. And if you didn't know what a if you don't know what a rooter is, if you don't know what a rooter is, then that's cool, because I didn't know what a rooter was. I went to go look it up. I went to Google, and I typed in, I said, Hey, what is a rooter? A rooter is a piece that sits on a router is a piece that sits on the front of a ship, literally sits on the front of a ship, and it controls the direction of the ship. It's so powerful, it's one of the smallest pieces on the ship. Go fact check me on it, true, false, literally, if I'm wrong, then put it in the comments. What you think it is, why you feel like I'm wrong. That's cool in the game, Iron sharpens. Iron. No, at the end of the day, that's in the Bible, too. The Bible got everything. Bro, you gonna sit here? You go argue with me over certain things, and it's like, bro, my friends get it. I get off the phone after a certain period of time if I feel like I'm just doing too much, and we just kind of getting into it. And I'm just not in the mood to be hearing certain things, bro, I gotta get off the phone, because, if not, I'ma say something, because I'm to the point to where I understand my triggers. No, there's nothing wrong with the fact that you got triggers. The problem is you don't understand when you don't understand, and you're not connecting with your feelings and your own inner, inner self to know when you're getting triggered. No. So this is why your pipe always burst. No, you shouldn't always burst. Bro. You shouldn't always have to get a band aid to patch it up. But can I free you? No, you shouldn't always get a band No, you shouldn't always burst to where you are to where you can't use it. You can't use the pipe, but I'll be honest with you, sometimes they might have to get a piece of something, a piece of tape or something to duct tape something up if it got a leak. No, I'm not gonna tell you that you're not gonna ever have days where you leaking. No, some days you gonna leak. Some days it's you gonna not always have it together, and that's cool, because you're human. But baby, every day don't need to be a day where you burst it. No, you have to understand your. Own triggers. Why do you need to control them? No. If you know that, if you get to talking to hype and your delivery is gonna make him, it's gonna make Keisha baby daddy want to slap you. I'm not saying he should, but I'm saying if you know that, it's gonna make him want to slap you, then guess what? Maybe y'all need to get off the phone when your temperatures start rising. If you know you slit if you land in the movie theater and you got on some coochie cutters, that's what we call them down south, some tighty, Whitey shorts, you get what I'm saying, and he kissing all in your ear and your neck and that don't help you. Keep room for Jesus at the end of the day, maybe I don't need to watch movies with the lights off. Maybe y'all need to be in a public area where people can hold you accountable, because you know, another child is not what you need. That's cool in the game, I get it, but you gotta put yourself in certain situations or certain positions, to where you're not always just getting an F with the same test. Y'all not tired of failing some of these tests? Come on. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. I'm not gonna ever tell anybody who to vote for. What I will tell you is this, do your research. There's nothing wrong with doing your research, but we are a six party system. America is a six party system. We got six parties. Have you even? Have you ever taken a step back to even go explore the other parties. Somebody told me about Bernie Sanders one time, but he wasn't the main party. He didn't win that much the big group. What happens if history is made three times? Y'all not ready to talk. Y'all are not ready to talk. You know what's crazy to me, sometimes people like, when I see like a white person, like, I call them spicy white. Y'all know, I call them spicy white because I tried to I call somebody white. And then all of my homeboys jumped on me in a DM, and was like, bruh, he not white. He is Cuban. He, Asian, American, he and it's like, you could be all of them. Because I just found out Kamala Harris, I'm even only African American. This lady is Asian American too. You get what I'm saying. So it's just like, bruh, you just gotta do your research. Because, like, I'm not gonna sit up here and tell you who to vote for. I just sat up here and read about all of the candidates. Literally, I'm not even a political person, but in a world where I gotta fight for the fact that, literally, my people fought for me to have the ability to exercise my right birth. I'm going cast the vote. It don't matter who I vote for, because I'm voting from a different perspective than you. I don't walk in the same shoes as you. I'm cool with some of the dopest spicy white people. I'm cool with some of the dopest Islamic people. I'm cool with some of the dopest Jehovah like, literally, I could just throw out so many titles with people that just hold different positions or different different groups than me, but some of them groups we in the same, like, both of us are in the same group. No, literally, I sat at the bar with somebody look completely different than me. I probably had a totally different tax bracket because I'm a y'all know I'm a student. Okay, y'all already know that. We ain't even got to laugh about it. We listen. I'm on the upcoming up cup. You get what I'm saying. No, man, I love talking about Jesus. And the crazy part about it is I have a minor in Religion, but that's not even what I went to school for. I went to school for, like, to be a physician. Yet, still, my heart and passion is literally reading the Bible every single day. Like I was, we have this group that we're doing this challenge, and it's like you were committing to something for the like, a certain period of time. Like, whatever it is that you commit to commit to, it full out 100% and I be real with you the things that I've decided to commit to, like they were like, oh, it's about being healthy, but being healthy, like, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, physically, I said, bro, the emotionally and the spiritually, I'm on tap with that. I got that. But no, when it comes to literally, like being able to just 100% step out of it, oh, it feel like I'm screaming. Calm down. It feels like I'm screaming, which means it just feels like I'm screaming. It means like I'm probably screaming to somebody else, but that instead of it just being whatever it is, it's something that's more than what it is, which is not good, like low key kind of bad. So it's just like what what exactly I trust God, no man. I didn't mean to get off topic, but bro, y'all know what I say. I literally say, but we. Louisiana is the best to ever do it. Literally, Louisiana is the best to ever do it. Everywhere I go. If somebody's ever met me in totally different part of the world, I literally will say they be like, where you find Brown from Louisiana. We the best to ever do it. No, we literally, we wanted them once. Like, if y'all know, y'all come down here for our food. It's so crazy because people were talking about Keith Lee. He came down here from Louisiana. He was just like, saying he wasn't a fan of New Orleans food, he wasn't a fan of Louisiana food. And I'm like, that's crazy, but it's always gonna be somebody that's AKA a hater. You get. I'm playing, I don't know Keith Lee. I'm just talking noise y'all. But seriously, at the end of the day, like, that's what the people in the comments saying they're really saying, like, bruh, he really just hating, he really just hating on, um, he really just hating on their food. Because it's like, bro, everybody that Louisiana is known for their food, but this is what I will say. You can't force your opinion on nobody. If that man didn't like the food, maybe he just don't like Southern, you know, southern style food. Because really and truly, the places that he went to, I'm gonna be real with you, they look they weren't the places that me, being a local person from Louisiana, would have went to, and that's just the real like, the places that you chose wouldn't be the places that I would choose for, you know, I'm saying for Louisiana, however, however, some of the places, apparently, were really good. So it's like, Y'all can't be mad, because really and truly, they could have been somebody's answered prayer. Somebody could have been answering their prayer. You get, like, somebody could have really somebody the owner there was, like, a couple of young girls or something like that, for one of the things where he owned and that could have been a prayer. What if they was about to shut down in a month or two for what? Then? What you mean to tell me that not you get I'm saying, God, I supposed to come through for them too, like, Come on, y'all, everybody not gonna be satisfied. Like, that's what I think people need to understand about the like, the party system that we're in, bro, in order for somebody to win and be the like, be the president or hold that position, bro, somebody's feelings are gonna have to be disappointed. But if you get disappointed, just stuck it out for four years, bro, if the opposite side of whoever you're voting against can do it for four years, then you got the same power to do it for four years. Thug it out like, get you get I'm saying because really and truly, it takes eight years to get something done anyway. Think about the major, monumental things that people have done, or the President have done it most times for something radical to be changed in your life, it took two turns. Let's be real. Let's be real. So it's just like, Y'all gotta use it. You gotta use that in your understanding, bro, you can thug it out for four years. In my opinion, it's like, what if that's like the little trial error? What if that's like the little trial error? Like, No, I, if I put you this? I'm gonna see what you did in four years. Okay, what can you say about this president that they did in four years? Boom, if that's something to make you want to vote for them, then vote for them. Or if you said, Hey, bro, what has this President done for four years? If I can't really drive with it, if I don't like it, then guess what? Boom, I'm going to something else. I'm exploring other options. It's really that simple. Like, y'all making, y'all making, like mountains out of like, literally, little mud piles. I ain't got time for it, so don't come in my face asking me who I'm voting for, because I'm gonna tell you, listen, may the Lord watch between you and I, while we absent from one another. Because my opinion is, like, my opinion is from my perspective. So you can't get hung up and tired and gung ho on how I'm feeling and what I feel. All you could do is go do the research. All I could do is tell you what's really on the internet that you got the power to go, look up. You have the power to go, look that up. You get what I'm saying. So nah, but anyways, that was my 15 little minutes of power. Y'all just gonna have to thug it out with me, because we just talked about a lot. And so I just want to hashtag. Can we talk about it? Can we talk about it? That's all I want to know, is hashtag. Can we talk about it? Because if we, y'all know how I feel about things now, because you didn't listen to my first episode. Okay, you don't listen to another episode to where you got it. So my thing is this, if you know how I'm coming, bro, if we can have a conversation out of love, I'ma sit there and talk to you all day. Why? Because at the end of the day, bruh, I'm not gonna ever force you to take the same appeal and same stance that I take. We all speaking from different perspectives. In some form or fashion, we all speaking from different perspectives, the same way we had two older white males in position to vote bruh. They can't necessarily speak from the perspective of a black man or from a Mexican woman. They can't do that. They cannot do that. Where's the diversity? Where's the diversity and inclusion? Really and truly, we gonna talk about that. All of these corporations will talk about diversity and inclusion. But what y'all really doing? Because when it's time to talk about it, let's talk about it. Nobody want to talk about it, though. I'm sorry if, if I could, if, literally, if a candidate like mays gilliam, y'all ever seen the movie head of state? If y'all never seen the movie head of state, I want y'all to go look at the movie head of state. If a candidate like mays gilliam was in office. Oh, everything, everything that was ever there. I promise you, if I saw the President, the presidential candidate, in the streets with the local people trying to help them. I mean, when the bus system shut down, he get on the bus to drive and help them. Bro, why wouldn't you vote for somebody that's helping your community? Let's talk about it. But the problem is, everybody only want to go to the communities whenever they need presidential votes. No. How are you on your everyday life? Let's talk about it. Somebody came to me and said, and said, bruh, my only problem is not the fact that she's a black woman. My problem is she ain't never come to the community. Talking about Kamal Harris, I'm just telling what the people in the comments saying, they said, She ain't never come to the community. You she ain't never come to the community. She ain't never come to the community, except, except when the presidential election happen. They said, now I feel like she's only coming. They said she popped out and showed us an essence. But they said essence happened every year. Why is it that she only came this year to be a speaker? And you know what? I looked at him and said, that's a very valid point. What you're saying is a very valid point, which is why I never try and encourage people, oh, you should vote for this person. Oh, you shouldn't vote for that person. Let's talk about it. As good as the Obamas are, somebody in the comments said, The Obamas, ain't they the only presidential family they never had. You ain't, never heard no scandal about and I'm gonna be real with you. I can't recall one that first lady said, bro, when they go low, we go high. Let's talk about it. Let's put scripture on it. He said, when they strike one cheek, this is your other piece of your homework. He said, when they strike one cheek, baby, you're supposed to turn around and give them the other one. Where in the Bible, does it say that? Where? Tell me, where does it say it? Where does it say it all right, then I want y'all to go tell me. If you don't want to tell me, I told y'all. I've been told y'all to go buy you a little tablet. If you can't, don't have no money for a little tablet. DM me, because I promise you, I'ma send you a little tablet. Okay, I'ma send you a little tablet. And you gonna be writing in these homework assignments when I'm calling out these scriptures, and before you know it, you're gonna be done. Read the Bible, baby in a year, put watch me. Watch me. I send you a calendar of scriptures of how we about to read the Bible in a year. Watch me. Watch me. If you want that, if you want that, just let me know. Just let me know. Let me know. Let me know. And really and truly, if you want that you can just click the link in my Bible, in my bio, okay, father, God, in the name of Jesus, I just thank you for the person that came across this podcast episode. And Lord, I just ask that you just help them and whatever it is that they're facing. Lord, I just ask you to just give them strength, encourage God to just continue to walk how you called us to walk, God and to continue to do the things that you called them to do. But I just ask, and I just ask for your protection, God, and I just ask that you just help that child, or help their mom or help their dad. God, understand. God. Then when you said that you had a plan for us, God, you said somewhere in your word that every hair on our head is numbered. So God, we just thank you, God, that you've taken us into account when you created this world. God that when you created this plan. When you created this world, God, you had a purpose in mind for us. And we just, thank you, God, that your plan for our lives is to do is to prosper us and to not harm us. God, we just, thank you that the plan that you have for our life is to prosper us and not to harm us. We thank you for all the things that you've done. God. We thank you for all the things that you're doing and God. We thank you for all the things that you're about to do in this season God and this in Jesus, name that we pray. Amen. I love you guys. I hope you guys had a great day. The rest of your day, get outside and enjoy your life that God has given to you. It's what God wants you to do. Put scripture on it that's found in Ecclesiastes. God said that he's. Takes pleasure in our pleasure. That means the things that he wants, the things that you want for him to do. I mean the things that you want to do in your life. God actually wants you to do those things. No, he takes pleasure in your pleasure. No, he just wants to do it with who he wants to do it with when he want to do it, using who he wants to use at the time in which he wants to do it, and you just gotta be bold enough to just trust his plan, even when you can't trace his hand. I promise you, he is up to something, and he's up to something good, concerning you. I love you guys, and share this with Keisha and her baby daddy, because they love Jesus. All right. Bye. You.
